Let Freedom Ring

Hold on, let me warn you...this one is a bit of a rant.

It is the Fourth of July, Independence Day here in the USA.  I am listening to fireworks pop all around me.

I appreciate freedom...my rights as an American and my freedom in Christ.  I understand what it took to become a nation and I love to celebrate.

Here is where we take a turn...

It is hard to celebrate when the government is trying to decide if we let children be born.

It is hard to celebrate when we spend enough on fireworks and party favors that get thrown away to feed thousands of hungry children living on the streets.

It is hard to celebrate when our country is being slightly distorted with half truths.

God Bless the USA.
